Community

The vision that Spacebusters has for the future extends to our local and global community. Spacebusters is passionate and proud to support Compassion, City Care and Watoto. We also lovingly support four children in Uganda and Haiti.

Compassion

Compassion works with the poorest of poor children in over 25 developing countries around the world in Africa, Asia, Central and South America. Compassion's holistic child development programs minister to the spiritual, economic, social, physical and emotional needs of children throughout all stages of development; from the womb to university.

City Care

City Care is a not-for-profit organisation that empowers people to lead and impact in every sphere of life. Since 1989 it has delivered a range of community services in Sydney's inner city and outer west, focussing on socially isolated people and socio-economically challenged communities. City Care promotes pathways for people to move from welfare dependency to personal and financial independence.

Watoto Childrens Village, Uganda

Watoto is a holistic childcare program targeted towards meeting the essential needs of parentless and vulnerable children, who are commonly orphaned as a result of AIDS. Watoto cares for children in two ways:

• Single-family dwellings are constructed to provide shelter for the most destitute children.
• Assisting relatives to care for parentless children in their extended families by providing education, clothing, food and some scholastic materials.
